Testing Laboratory

PFS TECO operates three laboratories in the United States: One at its corporate office in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, its sister lab in Springfield, Oregon, and a Hearth Products laboratory in Portland, Oregon. The Wisconsin lab and Oregon labs are ISO 17025 accredited by the International Accreditation Service (IAS). Our certificates of accreditation can be viewed from our accreditations page. The location of the laboratories gives our staff the ability to focus their efforts to match the needs of their customers. The Wisconsin laboratory has the full capability to test adhesives as well as structural panels for OSB and plywood manufacturers, and also to conduct specialty test projects for a wide array of construction products. The Oregon laboratory works closely with wood adhesive manufacturers and deck and guardrail component manufacturers, as well as structural panel and EWP manufacturers. Our Hearth Products laboratory conducts both safety and emissions testing on a wide range of wood and gas hearth products.
