Model building codes require building products — from panels and engineered lumber to fasteners and structural adhesives — to be independently certified by an accredited third-party agency. PFS TECO maintains ISO and SCC accreditations for a wide variety of building products that comply with codes in the US, Canada, Japan, and Australia/New Zealand.
The Hearth Products Department works with manufacturers that sell both Gas and Wood Burning Appliances. These appliances fall under a listing program and use the PFS mark on the product(s). The Hearth Products Department evaluates and certifies that the appliances conform to the applicable national, state and/or Federal standard(s) for both the United States and/or Canada.
PFS TECO operates two laboratories in the United States (Cottage Grove, WI and Springfield, OR) that are ISO 17024 accredited by IAS to perform a wide array of tests on a variety building products including adhesives, panel products, deck & guardrail systems, and more.
